Responding to children with ‘challenging’ behaviours is one area that many childcare centres need support with.
This professional learning program will explore what type of support is needed and considers the implications for future practice.
Drawing on a strengths-based approach, this program will support centre staff to rethink current approaches and consider possibilities for working collaboratively with children to ensure the rights of both children and adults are upheld. It will empower participants to seek solutions to their current issues and challenges through conversations, critical reflection and mutual support.
